Lifties get us up the hill, Ski Patrol watches over us while we’re on it, and the maintenance crew keeps the machinery, lifts, equipment, and countless moving parts of a ski area running when something inevitably breaks.

Blessed are the snowmakers, for they shall cover the hill.
While most of the mountain sleeps, the snowmaking crew is out there turning cold air and water into tomorrow’s turns. St. Bernard of Purgatory offers this slightly less-than-canonical blessing to the people running the guns and building winter one frozen night at a time.
