Snowboarding is highly addictive, and care should be taken when large doses are prescribed. Prolonged exposure may result in an uncontrollable desire to purchase additional boards, boots, bindings, goggles, lift tickets, and clothing you insist was absolutely necessary.
Patients experiencing chronic boredom, seasonal grumpiness, excessive responsibility, or persistent uncoolness may experience significant improvement after only a few runs.
Common side effects may include bruised tailbones, frozen fingers, spontaneous use of the word “dude,” questionable decision-making, and an irrational desire to jump off perfectly good pieces of terrain.
Do not discontinue Snowboarding abruptly. Sudden withdrawal may cause irritability, restlessness, excessive weather checking, and repeatedly asking, “When’s it gonna snow?”
Serious side effects may include frostbite, hypothermia, broken bones, collisions with trees, and/or death.
Do not combine Snowboarding with drugs or alcohol. Increased risk of poor judgment, injury, and spontaneous acts of stupidity may occur.
Do not take Snowboarding if you are allergic to snow, gravity, chairlifts, or landing on your ass.
