Blanca Peak Spring — A Little Slice of Heaven
Spring at Wolf Skull Ranch doesn’t always mean the snow has disappeared from the mountains.
Inspired by an actual photograph taken here at the ranch, this design captures White Widow—better known as Dubsie—and Strawberry Cough, our Bear Bear, grazing beneath the snow-covered peaks of Southern Colorado. Behind them rises Blanca Peak, turning an ordinary day in the pasture into one of those views that reminds us exactly why we call this place home.
The original photograph has been transformed into a hand-painted interpretation while preserving the horses, landscape, and unmistakable mountain backdrop that made the original special.
This design is part of our A Little Slice of Heaven series—authentic Wolf Skull Ranch moments from Fort Garland, Colorado, turned into wearable art.
Just as The Animals of Wolf Skull Ranch, A Coloring Book was created from photographs of the real animals who have called the ranch home, the artwork in our A Little Slice of Heaven collection begins with actual photographs taken right here at Wolf Skull Ranch.
